Bedbugs found at hip lingerie store in New York

The New York City branch of Victoria’s Secret store gained a somewhat negative publicity this week after bedbugs were reportedly seen in the lingerie establishment.

According to reports, the Manhattan-based store was forced to close. The store officials are still in the processing of testing whether bedbugs can be seen in their latest collection of fine lingerie.

A company spokesperson said that they are testing their products to see if there are widespread occurrences of bedbugs sightings. They used dogs to detect these tiny insects and so far these have been found in their branch in Lexington Avenue and 58th street. Cryonite was used to freeze and kill the bed bugs.

Bed bugs are hard to kill because of their size and most of the time their bites are not felt by humans. They are also not dangerous. However, such knowledge would certainly turn off customers going to this high end lingerie store.
