Majority of Women Wear The Wrong Bra Size

For over twenty-five years, Celine Segal has been functioning as an in-store bra fitting consultant, the previous ten of which she has also dedicated her time as the Bra Doctor for Now That's Lingerie’s (NTL) online boutique. And because of her capacities, she was able to estimate that there are close to nine out of ten women that report to have discomforts with their bras but still continue to wear them.

Celine said that most of the women have never had the chance to have an appropriate bra fitting, or have been informed wrongly about it, that’s why they don't know they are wearing the wrong size. There are also a lot of factors when purchasing one like sudden weight changes, exercise, pregnancy, etc. She suggests examining ones bra size every six months and to under no circumstances wear a bra that doesn't fit properly.

The most common complaints from clients are back, neck and shoulder pain, says Celine. She added that it's unhealthy to wear a bra that doesn't fit well, no matter what your shape or size. She along with her blogging team on Bra Doctor's Blog help teach their readers on the subject of bra fitting. Celine said that it is rewarding to lend a hand to a woman in discovering the difference of having the right fit and bra size that can help her shape, comfort, and confidence.

As part of their attempt to lift up consciousness, NTL has just made known their Now That's A Lingerie Experience Sweepstakes today. Every victor will be given a personal one-hour phone consult with Celine, who will be of assistance in styling a customized lingerie wardrobe based on the winner's unique fitting needs. There would be three winners which will received these prizes $500, $300 or $200 in NTL gift cards.

Ever since 2001, NTL has been providing women globally with personalized customer care, bra fitting assistance, and a big-hearted selection of lingerie from featured brands like Warner's, Calvin Klein, Triumph International, Elita and Blush.

Recycled Bras This Holiday Season

The Bra Recyclers just sent recycled bras to women that served at The Healing Place of Wake County. These bras help out on the setback of the number of textile waste towards the inside of the waste stream, at the same time as providing support to the women in need.

The Bra Recyclers is a textile recycling corporation based in Gilbert, Arizona. They were able to launch this partnership in October during the annual Bra Recycling Month event of the company.

The Healing Place provides recuperation and healing services to destitute, alcoholic and chemically reliant men. Just about 75 homeless women are housed at The Healing Place each night. Terri Conyers, The Healing Place staff member, touched on the call for recycled bras to assist in serving women at their facility. She said that many of these women get there with the clothes on their backs. Recycled bras will offer basic human entitlement to these women and also offer hope that somebody in reality cares and they may carry on with their recuperation process. They have every shape and size of a woman but they would appreciate more of the big sizes of recycled bras.

The Bra Recyclers aspire to offer women and girls in need. With the bra they are able to let the women feel encouraged, beautiful, and confident throughout their most distressed hours. Birks-Mitchell stated that having a clean and properly fitted bra to wear is more often than not at the top of the list for women and girls in need due to other priorities, like food, shelter, and safety. He said they want to do their part by providing a straightforward encouragement that will boost a woman’s spirit, improve her self esteem, and ultimately help re-shape a life. He also adds that aside from helping out these women, bra recycling also helps delay the number of textiles entering the waste stream.

A Favourite Ladies’ Fashion and Lingerie Website

When we turn to our favourite ladies’ fashion website, it is interesting to see if there are any new features, advertisements and updates.

A perceptive online clothes shopper notices changes to sites, whether subtle or significant, such as a new subcategory of dresses or tops.

There are many bonuses to buying ladies’ fashion and ladies lingerie online. In the first place, sellers have a huge opportunity to offer us affordable, trendy styles in a wider selection of a particular design. For instance, maternity-wear, bridal dresses, very tall men or for plus size women with a full-figure who are continually frustrated when trying to find a jacket that fits, and so on.

Secondly, although fashions change at a very fast pace, the online shopper will find current fashion trends are available. However, a woman will only return to buy her fashion online if she feels the company know her requirements. For instance, if the website specialises in jackets, shirts, coats and tops for the full-figured plus size woman, she will rest assured that the company are on top of current fashion trends and that designs will be adapted specifically for her.

A third perk for the online clothes shopper is the chance to buy an accessory from the store to match the top or skirt that is to be purchased.

Evening with corsets set

A unique event has been set and it aims to let the attendees and participants “spend” an evening with corsets. An evening celebrating the corset is taking place on October. Organizers say that the event will truly be a unique one since the theme will be to celebrate the history of corsets and the fact that corsets were staples decades before.

The event at 8pm on the 11th October at the Spring in Havant will be introduced by Corina Voller from local corset company "Vollers.” Vollers is known for its various offerings of corsets. Vollers offers various corsets that can be used for different occasions --- whether for weddings, parties and even high fashion photo shoots.

During the “evening with corsets,” many types of corset will be discussed including bridal, high-fashion and theatrical types. The corsets will also be showcased via a fashion show. The fashion show will depict the history of corsets, the use of corsets as well as the various types of corsets used before. There will also be a mini Q and A portion where specialist bra fitter Alison Graham from “Tinks Pretty Things” of Chichester will discuss various aspects about corsets.

An entrance fee of only £5 (includes glass of wine and nibbles) has also be announced.
