Australian Senior Rowing Team prepares for German World Cup

The Australian Senior Rowing Team has been preparing very hard since they got their new swimsuit in anticipation of the German World Cup competitions this week. The city of Munich is hosting this prestigious event.

The 1972 Olympic Regatta Course is the official venue of this three-day event which features the top crews around the world.

There’s a challenge among players to overcome the less ideal weather conditions in the venue, with rains pouring over the city of Munich. However, forecasts reveal that this may clear out during the first day of rowing competitions.

In order to focus on the men’s fours crews, the Australian men’s eight crew backed out because according to National High Performance Director Andrew Matheson, they wouldn’t want to push themselves too hard in the competitions since they have just arrive in this European city.
The competitions begin on Friday morning.
