Bra Study

In a recent study, it has been found out that women have the tendency to lie about the size of their bras because most of them aren’t satisfied with their bra size.

When faced in some situations that require women to input the size of their bras, such as gym memberships or buying a new lingerie, it is a common practice for most women would increase their measurements to avoid embarrassing situations.

While establishment owners and gym clubs do not take action when it comes to false input, they encourage women to be more honest in putting the accurate measurement of their bras not just because of ethics, but of course, doing so will lead to more desirable results-- accuracy in sizing will help the fitter to give you the best possible fit if you're trying to buy lingerie.

It's important to keep in mind that in this situation, sizes doesn't really matter-- lying isn't really necessary. If you do your part in making sure that you provide accuracy, fitters will do their best and help you get that perfect fit, no matter what size it may be.

Nursing Bras

For a mother, every step must be taken in order to ensure comfort, security, and safety in order to her to be at ease as much as possible. This is where a nursing bra is more of a necessity rather than a privilege, because it truly can contribute a lot to a mother's well-being and convenience.

A nursing bra aims to provide additional support while allowing the wearer to breastfeed with ease and comfort. Breastfeeding is no longer a difLinkficult process because a nursing bra makes it easy for the mother to do so. Simply by removing a hook in front of the brassiere, breastfeeding is made easy and more convenient.

Its practicality can never be questioned, and a lot of mothers have found it to be a life-changer. It's also a blessing that nursing bras come in different styles, such as underwire, seamless, lounging, and softcup.

Breastfeeding can be a breeze, thanks to a nursing bra.

Reader Finds Out Where To Find Shockabsorber Bras

A reader of the online site Independent has asked where she can find good, comfortable and durable workout wear including shockabsorber bras. The reader said that it was part of her New Year’s resolutions to get fit and train for a mini marathon. The reader also lamented the fact that workout wear can be pretty pricey and that she wondered if there were stores or brands that carried affordable workout wear items including shockabsorber bras.

In response, Independent website writer Roxanne Parker said that there were several brands that offered pretty affordable workout clothes including for example the shockabsorber sports bra. Parker shared that A Penneys, for instance, has launched a workout wear collection available in coral and black or black and blue. She said that the range includes shorts, 3/4-length running pants, full-length running pants and running jackets ranging from €5 to €12.

Meanwhile, the Forever 21 branch found in the Jervis Street Shopping Centre also has an extensive selection of colourful workout wear. For €9.75, the customer can avail of a cropped aerobic top and for €17, a customer can buy hoodies and workout pants.

Parker also stressed that while sports bras may be a little pricey, a woman should never scrimp on these especially on shockabsorber bras. “Wearing something without support can cause back ache and discomfort, slowing you down and ruining your workout,” she wrote. Shockabsorber bras, she said, can actually play two roles - as a bra and as a sports top.

Girl Guides Collect Bras To Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

A girl guide group in Dargaville has collected thousands of bras. This, in an effort to reach a world record and to fulfill a program related to breast cancer.

Dargaville's Girl Guide group has collected 170,000 bras for a world record attempt on the longest bra chain and to also help raise awareness on breast cancer. The said Girl Guide group from Dargaville took two years to complete the gathering of 170,000 bras.

This weekend, the members of this group will hook the bras together in order break the existing world record made in Australia. The world record of bras chained together in Australia had 166,000 bras.

The members of Dargaville Girl Guide group are all optimistic that their 170,000 bras will break the world record. They shared that the idea started during Girl Guiding's Pink Star Challenge in 2010 to raise awareness about the detection of breast cancer.

Robyn Martinovich, Girl Guide Spokeswoman, said that the idea came to her in early 2010 as she was flipping through the Guinness World Records book. She said that it might be a good idea to have the longest bra chain and that it would also suit a breast cancer awareness program.

Hence, the girls' goal was not only to achieve the world record but to raise awareness of breast cancer.

"I know we have managed to do this [raise awareness] from the hundreds of letters of support we have received," Martinovich said.

After this weekend, the representatives of Guinness will officially determine whether or not the girl guide group has broken the world record.
